Ben (Honoray Bloodhound)

He was an honorary Bloodhound - although he probably wouldn't thank you for that as he has disliked them all since one first fell on his head (Duffle) when he was just 6 weeks) old. Ben was the old man of the family and enjoyed nothing better that a rather 'toothless' growl at his oppressors, although when our back is turned he has been seen rolling around the garden with them even at his advanced years.
Unfortunately we lost Ben on 4th January 2008 aged 16.5. I have decided to kept his picture on the site as he was the only one besides Eileen and myself to know every single one of our other dogs that we had had since starting to keep Bloodhounds up to that time.
